Premier League side, Chelsea are ready to hand striker Tammy Abraham a new deal as reward for his goal-scoring form out on loan, has gathered.

The England under-21 international has been in superb form at Bristol City, scoring 26 goals in all competitions despite their struggles at the bottom end of the Championship table.

With a number of clubs already expressing their interest in the English-bred Nigerian on a permanent and loan basis, Chelsea are determined to secure his long-term future by offering him a new contract.

Although it is believed that Chelsea are yet to decide what they plan to do with Abraham next season, the club have ruled out selling him as they have high hopes for him in the future.

If Abraham is unlikely to figure in Antonio Conte’s first-team plans next season they could opt to send him out on loan to a Premier League rival to give him the chance to develop at a higher level next season.

Abraham is entering the final two years of his contract at Stamford Bridge this summer when he returns from his successful loan spell at Bristol City and is edging increasingly closer to representing the Super Eagles of Nigeria at international level.
