Iheanacho was a replacement for Gabriel Jesus in the 84th minute of the game, reports.

David Silva volleyed home in the 2nd minute for City’s lead. Further goals from Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and a header from Nicolas Otamendi ensured the win for the Citizens.

Reports from City this week has been on the surprise permission given the player to open discussions with any club he so wishes to join at the end of the season.

Iheanacho’s new contract expires in 2021 after he put pen to paper last August.
