Nasarawa United striker, Abdulrahman Bashir has said that he is not worried by his lack of goals this season and that he is trying all his best to make sure he rediscovers his form to score goals.


In an exclusive chat with, the former Enyimba striker said he is not losing any sleep over his lack of goals because he knows that he is helping his team and he is playing well, assisting his teammates and being a better team player.

“If you play well yesterday, it doesn’t mean you will play well today in football. The most important thing is for you as a player to help your club and your teammates.”

“I am not worried that I am not scoring goals like I did last season because I know I am helping my team and playing better.”

“I am still trying my best and putting more efforts this year, but since the goals are not forthcoming, people misconstrue it as a lack of form on my side. I just pray that God will help me and give me the wisdom to start scoring again,” said Bashir.
