Reports have emerged that Everton FC wants Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho as replacement for their departing top striker Romelu Lukaku, can exclusively report.
Following this, the club has tabled £20 million pounds for Iheanacho as Manchester City have also indicated that they want to sell the Nigerian.
Talks have since been ongoing as regards who would snatch the highly-rated Nigerian as German clubs Borussia Dortmund and TSG Hoffenheim also sent in their representatives last week to discuss a possible move for the Nigerian youngster who has scored 21 goals in 20 appearances for the citizens.
Lukaku seems to be on his way back to Chelsea in a deal worth €70 million and Everton FC are keen to find a worthy replacement.
The Liverpool-based club are also mindful of the business aspect of  the transfer as they also want a striker that will give them a sell on value, with Iheanacho’s age (20), proving to be one of such players Everton wants.
