Nigerian FIFA Badged Referees, Ferdinand Udoh and Abel Baba have been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the Confederations Cup match in Congo, reports.

The Nigerian referees will be on duty this weekend as TP Mazembe of Congo hosts Super Sports FC of South Africa in the group stage match in Lumunbashi, Congo.

While Udoh is the center referee, Baba is the Assistant Referee 1, accompanied by Peter Ogwu and Salisu Bashir as Assistant Referee 2 and Fourth Official, respectively.

Udoh, who had a good performance in Gabon two weeks ago where he took part in the CAF U-17 Championship and Baba, a CAF Elite A referee, were in the Nations Cup early this year.

The Nigerian referees will leave the country on Friday for the match on Sunday June 4.
The NRA wishes the referees a successful trip and best of luck in their match.
