Shooting Stars striker, Wasiu Jimoh has said that he is optimistic the club will not get relegated this season.

According to him, if the team can work hard and every player in the team maximizes their potentials, the club will successfully avoid the drop and even finish in a reasonable position.

The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah front man told AOIfootball.com that nobody should conclude their case yet because Shooting Stars have all what it takes to avoid the drop and finish in a better position.

“Shooting Stars will definitely avoid relegation; I have the utmost belief that we will avoid the drop.
“The Nigerian league is full of surprises, and anything can happen. I believe that if we work hard and play with full determination and confidence, we can still finish in a better position.

“We have all it takes to become great again; it’s all about our mindset. We have a very good coach and the coach is telling us it is time to improve our games,” concluded Jimoh.
