Abia Warriors forward, Sunday Adetunji has said that he wants to better his last season record before the current NPFL campaign comes to an end.

Adetunji, who netted ten goals last season, maintained that he is still working towards the target he set for himself at the beginning of the season.

Adetunji told in an exclusive interview that he is currently working hard to regain his form and do better than he did in the first round.

“I know that from the previous matches I have played now that there is still room for improvement.

“From the beginning of the season, I have set a target for myself that I must better my last season’s 10-goal record and my resolve to achieve that has not changed.

I have been working so hard in my last few games and I have seen that I have not been on top of my game; so I am working to correct that.

“To be great player a, I know I need to be on top of my game always and not play well today and drop from tomorrow in the last few games.”
