Coaches willing to handle any of the national teams can still apply as applications are still being received by the Nigeria Football Federation, and must be addressed to the General Secretary.

The Technical Director of the NFF, Bitrus Bewarang who made this known to,  also hinted that over 200 applications have been received so far and the process of screening and interview will commence from the first week of August.

” Well I can say we are still receiving applications for the vacancies available in all our national teams and that will be to the end of the month of July. After that we will have screening and interview sessions before we announce the names of those that are seen as capable to man the different positions available,” he said.

The vacant coaching positions available are the U-23, Super Falcons, U20 male and female and U17 male and female.

The former Assistant Super Eagles coach also used the medium to clear rumours in the public that the Technical and Development Committee and the Technical Department have handpicked coaches for different national teams.

The committee is expected to meet soon to commence screening and interview.
