Former Golden Eaglets midfielder, Kingsley Michael has put pen to paper for Italian Serie A side, Bologna FC, can exclusively report.

The 18- year-old prodigy will be lacing his boots for Bologna for the next 5 years.

“Kaka”, as he is fondly called, just clocked 18 on Saturday and was supposed to have signed with the Italian outfit earlier on but couldn’t due to age and visa hitches.

The midfielder was part of Emmanuel Amuneke’s team that conquered the world in 2015 at the U-17 World Cup in Chile where he also scored a sensational goal that helped Nigeria clinch her semi-final ticket ahead of Brazil.

The midfielder’s representative and former Super Eagles’ defender, Danny Shittu, flew in from London to grace the occasion.

He has joined fellow countryman and childhood friend, Orji Okwonkwo at Bologna.
