Following the shifting of their West African Union (WAFU) Cup elimination clash against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone from Saturday to Monday, the Salisu Yusuf-tutored home-based Eagles are expected to jet out on Sunday night, understands.

The postponement of the game was as a result of the season finale matches that will be played across the country on Saturday.

As a result of the involvement of the players, the NFF had appealed to WAFU to effect the shift in date, which their opponents Sierra Leone agreed.

A full complement of players invited are expected latest 12pm on Sunday as the team will fly to Accra and then connect Takoradi by road on Monday morning.

The Leone Stars are already in Ghana since Thursday last week.
