Out of favour Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa will start for his club Leicester City as they lock horns against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, can report.

The forward has not made any English Premier League match day squad this season for Leicester but has scored a goal for the side in an EFL Cup match played last month.

Leicester coach Shakespeare is also expected not to risk first-team players like Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton with Saturday’s Premier League clash against the same opposition on the horizon.

The former CSKA Moscow winger opted to stay at the King Power Stadium during the summer transfer window despite signals indicating he is down the pecking order and may not get enough playing time at the club.

His Nigerian compatriots Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi will also be available for selection.
