Everton FC are on the heels of out-of-favour Leicester City Nigerian striker, Ahmed Musa, can report.

The 24-year-old made the move to the King Power Stadium back in 2016 following a successful four-year stint at CSKA Moscow, for whom he scored 54 goals in 168 games and helped to three Russian Premier League titles.

Yet things haven’t gone at all well for the Nigeria international in England, with Musa managing just 33 appearances for the Foxes in the last 14 months or so, including none in any of their seven Premier League matches this term.

And as such as his future at the Midlands outfit is far from certain, Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on him ahead of a possible move in January in a bid to solve their own striking problems.

Ahmed Musa made a huge impression at CSKA Moscow, hence Leicester City splashed £16 million to bring him to the King Power Stadium last year.

But the 24-year-old has shown nothing close to that standard with five goals in 33 games for the Foxes, and no appearance in the Premier League this term highlights his lowly position in Craig Shakespeare’s pecking order, and thus casts doubt over his future at the club.
