Enyimba FC’s Stanley Dimgba could join Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, Ajax Cape Town of South Africa, as he has been invited for trials by the club, can report.

Dimgba played for the Nigerian side in the CHAN tournament two years back and was also part of the initial Nigeria U-23 team that was selected for the 2016 Olympics, although he ended up not making the final cut for Rio.

The 24-year-old could now be set to join his compatriot, Ejike Uzoenyi at the Urban Warriors.

“Dimgba’s style will no doubt suit the PSL because he is quick, strong and dribbles very well,” a source was quoted as saying.

“I have no doubt that he will succeed in the trials. In the games I watched him play for Enyimba last season, he is still one of the players with a sweet left foot in the Nigeria Professional Football League,” the source added.

The Cape Town team have managed only seven goals in nine league outings this season and currently sit in 14th spot on the log.
