Nigerian duo of Emem Eduok and Kenneth Omeruo were both on target as their Turkish side Kasimpasa beats Konyaspor 2-1 to move up to 10th place in the Turkish Super Lig, can report.
Former Rivers United striker Eduok scored his third goal of the season in last week’s away win at Karabukspor. Eduok wasted no time in getting his fourth at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium with Markus Neumayr providing the assist in the 12th minute of the game.
Hadziahmetovic came on for Musa Araz in the 55th minute and one minute later levelled the score for visiting Konyaspor following a defensive blunder assisted by Moryke Fofana.
The equalizer increased the confidence of the away team as they mounted pressure as another Nigerian, Imoh Ezekiel replaced Fofana in the 82nd minute but the change amounted to nothing for Konyaspor as Super Eagles defender, Omeruo added the second goal for the home team in 90th minute to ensure Coach Kemal Ozdes recorded his sixth win of the season.
