Nigerian international Sylvester Igboun scored twice and assisted another for Russian side UFA, in their 3-0 victory over Amkar Perm which had the duo of Fegor Ogunde and Brian Idowu on their books, reports.

Igboun, who has not been too convincing this season, stepped up his game and put in a man of the match performance to earn his side all three points.

The midfielder opened scoring in the 53rd minute after receiving a pass from Bojan Jokic to fire in and give his side the lead, much to the admiration of both the coaches, and fans of the home team.

Igboun then doubled the lead in the 69th minute when he converted a pass from Ivan Paurevic to put UFA 2-0 up before turning provider for Ivan Oblyakov to make it 3-0.

Igboun was on for all 90 minutes and was voted the man of the match for his stellar performance with a match rating of 9.1, scored twice from his three shots and won 7 duels.

Idowu and Ogunde featured for all 90 minutes for Amker Perm but could not help their side from losing.

The results leaves FK UFA in 6th position with 27 points from 19 games, while Amker are 11 with 21 points from the same number of games.
