Enyimba Coach, Paul Aigbogun who has been pencilled down for a coaching role in one of the national teams, has expressed his desire for the job, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former Warri Wolves gaffer, who has a UEFA Pro Licence, said he is keen to add his wealth of experience and knowledge in the development of Nigerian football while also admitting he heard his name has been mentioned for one of the remaining vacant positions.
“I have heard about my name been mentioned to handle one of the national teams. I want to say I am ready to serve my country and add my knowledge to the development of the game back here,” he said.
Despite saddled with the responsibility to tinker two- time African champions Enyimba, Aigbogun said with understanding with the management at Enyimba, he should have no problem handling the national team.
The Nigeria Football Federation is yet to announce the coaches for the National U-23 and U-20 coaching positions.
