• To honour National League Super Four

The schedule of Go Round FC until the start of the season has changed with the recent developments in the League, can report.

A statement issued by the club through its media officer, China Acheru, reads:

“We will no longer be able to honour pre-season friendly games against Enugu Rangers, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Abia Warriors, earlier scheduled to hold within the next week.

This is as a result of the Nigeria National League, NNL statement on Tuesday fixing the Super 4 in Lagos for January 7- 9, 2017.

After the team departed on break for Christmas, the plan was to return to camp on January 2, play games away to Rangers and FC Ifeanyi Ubah then end with Abia Warriors at home before departing to Bauchi for the game against Wikki Tourist.

The team will now depart to Lagos on Saturday for the tournament that will now serve as our preparations for the League opener in Bauchi.”

The Omoku-based side will clash against Wikki Tourists at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi in the Nigeria Professional Football League Match Day 1.
