MFM FC head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, says his side’s priority is to defeat Abia Warriors in the opening fixture match of Nigeria Professional Football League in Umuahia, reports.
The Nnewi-born tactician told that the points at stake is very important as he aims to start the league with a win.
“I’m aware they have a strong team with quality coach Rafael Everton, and quality players,  but beating them is our priority for now and we want to do justice to that on Sunday.
“The game is very, very important to us and we are prepared well enough in the Pre Season camping towards achieving winning in the league and also the continental games.”
“The maximum points is so crucial to us and I’m sure we will do all our best to defeat Abia Warriors in their arena,  which I know will not be easy but we will beat our opponent by God’s grace,” Ilechukwu stated.
