Katsina United midfield general Destiny Ashadi has stated that the point his team recorded against Kano Pillars in the Northern derby in Match Day 1 of the NPFL is a huge boost for the ‘Chanji Boys’ as they are fondly called, reports.
“It’s no magic, the draw came as a result of our hard work, dedication and the zeal to win the game at home,” said the former Kogi United midfielder.
“I feel happy we got a point against Northern arch rival Kano Pillars, we could have won the game. Overall, am happy with our performance,” Ashadi pointed out.
Katsina United came back to secure a 2-2 draw against four time Nigeria Professional Football League champions Kano Pillars at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium.
