Super Eagles and Leicester City striker,Ahmed Musa is set to end his nightmare at Leicester City, to rejoin Russian club CSKA Moscow.

Last week reported that the former Russian Champions recently renewed their interest in the forward and Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has confirmed Musa’s return to the Russian capital club.

Rohr revealed Musa will return to the Russian capital after a difficult time spell in England.

The 25-year-old forward struggled for game time in the Premier League and is ready to end his one and a half year association with the Foxes.

New Leicester Manager, Claude Puel has resigned the player to the U23s, with no premier league minutes yet this season.

Musa joined the former PL champions in 2016 for a then club record of £16.6 million but will not suit up for CSKA Moscow again.

Previously, the Nigeria International spent four seasons with CSKA with whom he won three league titles.

However, neither the player nor the clubs have released any statement on the transfer.
