Super Eagles and CSKA of Moscow winger, Ahmed Musa has hailed Coach Gernot Rohr after the latter paid him a surprise visit in a bid to foster good relations ahead of the World Cup in Russia, reports.
Musa had headed Rohr’s advise and ended his nightmarish stay at English Premier League club, Leicester City after failing to feature in any of the Foxes fixtures prior to his loan move to the Russian capital.
Since joining the club, the young lad has enjoyed a bright start to life in Russia, scoring 3 goals in friendly games before leading the CSKA Moscow to the round of 16 of the Europa League. Musa expressed his delight, tweeted thus:
“Words cannot express the gratitude I am feeling for what you did. I appreciate your generosity.
“What did I ever do to deserve you? You are amazing! A great teacher inspires and you have inspired me to excel in the game of football. I stumbled and failed but you taught me to never give up and keep on trying. I just want to say THANK FOR THE VISIT.”
The forward is expected to be on the Eagles’ list for this month’s friendly against Poland and Serbia, respectively.
