Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel midfielder John Ugochukwu Ogu has said he is blessed to have been called up for the Super Eagles’ upcoming friendlies against Poland and Serbia later this month, reports.
Ogu will be hoping to add to his current 16 caps for the national team after being among the 28 players called up by Head Coach Gernot Rohr ahead of the friendly matches later this month.
“I feel blessed to be called up for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in our upcoming friendlies. I will never joke with this opportunity and privilege,” Ogu twitted.
The former Academica De Coimbra midfielder made his debut in 2013 and has gone on to make 15 more appearances for the national team and scoring twice.
