Super Eagles’ midfielder, Oghenekharo Etebo in on the radar of Spanish LaLiga club, Valencia after turning up series of impressive displays for relegation-threatened Las Palmas, can report exclusively.
It is understood that Valencia were initially poised on taking the Nigerian on loan during the winter transfer window but opted out because of administrative issues.
But with French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia said to return to parent club Inter Milan in the summer, Valencia have now penciled down Etebo as their main priority ahead of their possible return to the Champions League next season.
Etebo, 22, who is on loan to Las Palmas from Portuguese side CD Feirense, has started all Las Palmas’ six league games, averaging a rating of 7.0 per match.
He has also completed 82% of his passes, winning 2.2 interceptions per game, while also winning 60% of his duels contested.
