After his goal heroics over the weekend for Changchun Yatai, Super Eagles’ striker, Odion Jude Ighalo has told exclusively that he will be among the early birds at the Radisson Blu Hotel camp in Wroclaw early Tuesday morning.
Ighalo, who scored his first league goal of the season over the weekend said, he is excited to be back in the national team and hopes for a much improved 2018 with the team.
“I want to give thanks to God for my goal over the weekend. So sad we could not get all three points, but all the same, I am grateful for the goal.
“Now, its time to shift attention to the national team- hopefully I should be in the camp latest Tuesday morning as we begin our preparations for the World Cup in Russia,” Ighalo said.
The Super Eagles’ camp for the international friendlies officially opens on Monday in Wroclaw ahead of the clash against Poland on Friday, after which the team will then depart for the UK to take on Serbia next Tuesday.
