Super Eagles’ vice-captain, Eddie Ogenyi Onazi is the latest arrival to the team’sRadisson Blu hotel alongside Russia-based attacker, Ahmed Musa, Standard Liege midfielder Uche Agbo, and Changchun Yatai goal banger, Odion Jude Ighalo AOIFootball.com can report.
The trio, who were spotted on arrival at the airport around 12:30 local time, proceeded to the team’s hotel as they intensified preparations for the grade A friendly match against Poland on Friday.
Ighalo came through from London after arriving on Sunday after his Chinese team wrapped things up on earlier on Saturday. The former Watford striker scored his first goal of the season for Yatai.
The 14 players that arrived camp earlier headed to the gym to do some loosing out ahead of the team’s first training session later in the day.
The arrival of Musa, Onazi, Agbo, and Ighalo now brings the total number of players in camp to 18, with the Home-based contingent and captain Mikel Obi among the players still expected to hit camp.
The players presently in the Eagles’ camp are goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, defenders Leon Balogun, William Troost Ekong, Ola Aina, Abdullahi Shehu, Kenneth Omeruo, Elderson Echiejile, Stephen Eze, Brian Idowu and Tyronne Ebuehi.
Others are Joel Obi, John Ogu, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon and the three new arrivals, Ogenyi Onazi, Ahmed Musa, Uche Agbo and Odion Ighalo.
