Super Eagles’ and Changchun Yatai of China striker, Odion Jude Ighalo is confident Nigeria will beat European giants Poland when both sides clash in an international friendly on Friday night.
The former Watford striker, who spoke to AOIFootball.com exclusively from the team’s camp, said although the game won’t be an easy one, he is confident the Eagles’ can defeat their hosts.
“I am fully ready for the game and I’m sure other guys here are also in top shape for the match. We know it won’t be an easy one but these are the kind of games we need if we must perform well at the world cup in Russia.
“They will definitely not be a pushover team, but we have the players that can upset them right in front of their own fans,” Ighalo stated.
Odion Ighalo will hope to carry is scoring form from club level to the Super Eagles after finding the back of the net for the first time this season over the weekend for Changchun Yatai.
