Days after returning to first team training Super Eagles’ midfielder, Oghenekharo Etebo is poised for a return to the starting eleven for strugglers Las Palmas as they travel to the Ciutat de Valencia Stadium to face Levante on Sunday, AOIFootball.com reports.
Etebo was named in the 24-man squad for the clash alongside fellow countryman, Imoh Ezekiel. He last featured for Las Palmas in their 2-0 loss to Villarreal, while Emmanuel Emenike misses out through injury.
Head Coach Paco Jimenez will have to rely on the Nigerian for creativity if they are to win at Levante for the first time after suffering defeats in four of their last clashes and drawing the other three.
Las Palmas find themselves on 19th position with 21 points and could ease their relegation woes with a win over 17th place Levante. However, they will need more than just a fit-again Etebo to overcome the challenge.
