Nigeria’s Super Eagles will get their World Cup qualifying bonus when they come for their friendly game against the Democratic Republic of Congo, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, according to Amaju Pinnick, can report.

Pinnick, who spoke during an interview with newsmen, confirmed that the team’s bonuses were ready for disbursement.

“I can confirm the Super Eagles World Cup qualification bonus is ready and the players will get it when they come for the friendly game against the Democratic Republic of Congo,” he said.

37 players who participated in the qualifying rounds, including former Eagles’ Coach Sunday Oliseh, and players like Obafemi Martins, Carl Ikeme and Paul Onobi, amongst others are expected to share 30% of the $9.5m FIFA will pay Nigeria as the qualifying bonus.
