Nigerian duo of Bright Edomwonyi and Emeka Eze were the heroes when Austrian outfit, SK Sturm Graz defeated Rapid Wien 3-2 after extra time to setup a final showdown against Red Bull Salzburg, AOIFootball.com reports.
Edomwonyi opened scoring for the home team after 24 minutes to put Sturm Graz ahead going into the break. The away team however equalized just before the hour mark through Louis Schaub.
Edomwonyi then put his side ahead again in the 62nd minute but they were pecked back for the second time when Giorgi Kvilitaia struck the equaliser to send the match into extra time.
Emeka Eze, who came in for the impressive Edomwonyi, however, scored the winner deep into extra time to send Sturm Graz to next month’s final where they will face RB Salzburg who edged out Mattersburg on penalties.
