Big Simy was on target again for FC Crotone

Nigerian star Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo was on target for the second consecutive match as he helped his side come from behind to boost their survival hopes in the Serie A with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Udinese, reports.

The 25-year-old, who started his seventh game of the season, equalized on the 7th minute after Kavin Lasagna had put Udinese ahead two minutes earlier to bring scores to 1-1, thus notching his 4th league goal of the season.

With time running out on both teams, with a chase survival on the cards, it was Crotone who got the decisive winner when David Faroni scored with four minutes left on the clock to hand Crotone a vital 2-1 win.

Simy was on for the entire match duration and had a game rating of 7.0, scoring from his only shot on target, winning 6 duels and completing 45% of his passes.

The result takes Crotone to 16th on the table with 31 points after 34 games, two points off the relegation zone.
