Super Eagles’ and Hapoel Be’er Sheva forward, Anthony Nwakaeme, has expressed his delight after returning to goal-scoring form over the weekend, and getting back to full fitness.
The striker, who spoke to exclusively from his base in Israel, said winning the title with Be’er Sheva remains the team’s main priority.
“I am very happy to have scored over the weekend; you know I was out for a couple of weeks with injury, so I am just getting my fitness back and feeling good with my body.
“The game was a very good one for us, though it was a very tough match it was a result we needed and I’m happy we got the three points. We just have to keep working hard now and I want to score more goals and be happy,” Nwakaeme concluded.
With his brace over the weekend, the attacker has now scored 11 league goals this season for Be’er Sheva.
