Super Eagles’ vice-captain, Eddie Ogenyi Onazi has expressed his readiness to face the Three Lions of England when they clash in a World Cup preparatory game at Wembley, AOIFootball.com reports.
The combative midfielder, who is expected to return to action this weekend for Trabzonspor after being out for two weeks with a hamstring injury, said on social media that he is eager to face the Gareth Southgate- led team.
“Great preparation Match! 5 weeks to go till we meet the Three Lions at Wembley #NaijaTakeover #SoarSuperEagles,” Onazi twitted.
Three-time African champions Nigeria will be the guest of England at the prestigious Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 2, with kickoff set for 5:15 pm local time.
