Outgoing Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, could become football’s highest-earning coach after reports emanating from China say the Frenchman has been offered a lucrative deal to join the free-spending Chinese Super League, reports.

Wenger, who coached former Eagles’ captain Nwankwo Kanu and brought Alex Iwobi into limelight, announced last week that he would be ending his 22- year romance with the London club, bringing an unprecedented era to an end.

During his twenty-two years with the Gunners, Wenger won 3 Premier League titles and 7 FA Cups, including becoming the first manager to lead an EPL side to an unbeaten season, a squad which featured Kanu Nwankwo.

However, with Unai Emery announcing that he will quit PSG at the end of the season, the CSL will have to up their sleeves if they want the French coach to join the Chinese League next summer.
