Super Falcons’ striker, Francisca Ordega scored for the third consecutive match running, in Washington Spirits 1-1 draw at home to Chicago Women, reports.
The prolific forward, who has been in fantastic form since returning on loan from Atletico Madrid, opened the scoring after just four minutes when she reacted quickest to tuck home from close range to put her side 1-0 up.
Their lead was however caught short fifteen minutes later when Mautz Alyssa equalized for the away side as both teams went into the break level.
Ordega was then replaced with 13 minutes left on the clock for Solaun Havana as the match ended 1-1.
With her efforts, Ordega has now scored 3 league goals in 5 outings, her best run of form since joining Spirits in 2015 and she is now one goal shy of her best league return for the Spirits in a single campaign.
