Super Eagles’ forward, Odion Ighalo, has equaled the record set by Bolivian striker Marcelio Moreno as the record goal-scorer for Changchun Yatai after his Man of the Match display over the weekend against league leaders Shanghai SIPG, reports.

Moreno scored 22 goals in 53 appearances for the Changchun outfit, with Ighalo matching that feat with lesser games after scoring the same number of goals from just 35 games.

The former Watford striker, who recently clocked a 100 career league goals, joined Changchun in January 2017 and went on to score 15 goals in his first season with the Chinese club.

The Nigerian will definitely look to keep up his impressive form, having scored 7 league goals already to better his last season tally of 15 league goals if he continues at this pace.
