Super Eagles’ and Changchun Yatai striker, Odion Jude Ighalo, has credited his newly found goal-scoring form to getting more familiar with the CSL, and that he now feels at home compared to last season.
The goal poacher, who has netted 6 goals in his last two outings, told in an exclusive interview that he now feels better compared to his debut season.
“I know the league better now. Last season, I was trying to find my rhythm in the beginning but I was able to pick up as the season unfolded; I now feel much better every time I go on the field.
“I am happy the goals are coming because that is my job as a striker but sometimes one will play well and will still not get a goal. So, in such instance, I just have to keep going and believe the goals will come,” Ighalo said.
The former Granada striker further added that he is just focused on doing well for both club and country, as the World Cup draws nigh.
