Super Eagles’ defender, Stephen Eze has handed Coach Gernot Rohr an injury boost after making a full recovery in time for his side’s crunch Europa League playoff against Slavia Sofia on Friday.
The former CHAN Eagles’ defence marshal, who missed Poldiv’s last league game due to injury, told in an exclusive interview that he has fully recovered and could start for his side on Friday.
“Yes, I’m back in training already. I trained with the rest of the squad for our game on Friday so I am good and ready to go.
“I recovered earlier than expected so maybe I could play the game because its a crucial one for us but the coach said I will be assessed before the game on Friday,” Eze said.
Eze has featured in 10 league matches since joining in February and has started 7 of those games.
