Super Eagles line up versus Serbia

With less than seven days to the much awaited 35-man provisional list of the Super Eagles players expected to be made public by Head Coach Gernot Rohr, the team’s spokesman, Mr. Toyin Ibitoye has said the Franco-German is working round the clock to ensure the best legs are selected to represent the country.

The Eagles’ Media Officer, who spoke to, further urged Nigerians to support the players that will be named and criticise the list constructively where necessary.

He said: “The provisional list is almost ready as the coach is currently putting it together. He is putting finishing touches to it, so by next week Nigerians would know their provisional players to the World Cup.”

Ibitoye was however mute on whether any new face will be added to the list, positing that only the coaches know the players that would suit the Eagles’ style of play.
