Super Eagles’ midfielder, Mikel Agu is reportedly on the radar of several Turkish clubs, with Istanbul side Basaksehir favourite to land the signature of the player ahead of the summer transfer window, can exclusively confirm.
Agu, who is currently on loan from Portuguese champions, FC Porto is currently uncertain about his future with Bursaspor, as are not willing to tie the midfielder down with a permanent deal.
However, gathered that fellow Turkish club, Istanbul Basaksehir are willing to take the midfielder next season with Porto looking to sell the player rather than loan him.
Agu, 24, has started in 21 games for Bursaspor this season since his loan move last summer, scoring twice and registering the same number of assists. The midfielder has also been impressive on the field with his stats, completing 82% of his passes whilst averaging 3 interceptions, 3 tackles and 2 clearances per game.
The midfielder is expected to be part of the Eagles 35- man provisional list that will be announced by Head Coach Gernot Rohr on Monday.
