Nigeria’s World Cup opponents Iceland have released their final 23-man list for the Mundial which kicks off next month in Russia, with notable names like Gyfil Sigurdsson and Alfred Finnbogason making the cut, AOIFootball.com reports.
The tiny European nation will open their World Cup campaign against 2014 beaten finalist Argentina, before squaring up against Nigeria on June 22.
The squad, which was announced via their Twitter handle, must be confirmed to FIFA on June 4, and they can make changes to the roster before their first game against Argentina on June 16, only if a player on the list is injured.
