Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, are billed to hit the training ground twice on Tuesday ahead of their first leg final round of qualifiers against the Gambia in Banjul after the team arrived that Gambia capital on Monday afternoon, reports.

The Falcons had their first training session at the FIFA Goal Project pitch in Yundum on Monday evening and will return to the same venue on Tuesday morning to continue their preparations for the clash.

The team will then have a feel of the Independence Stadium in Banjul, venue of Wednesday’s clash later as they look to take a commanding lead from the first leg ahead of the return leg in Nigeria next week.

The Queen Scorpions, as the Gambian team are called, eliminated Burkina Faso in the earlier round but will have their hands full against a star-studded Nigerian team that is led by reigning African Women Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, among several other stars.
