Super Eagles’ coach, Gernot Rohr has expectedly made a couple of changes from their friendly against England last Saturday, with the Franco-German opting to leave out midfield duo of Ogenyi Onazi and Joel Obi in favour of fit-again Wilfred Ndidi and John Ogu, can confirm.

Ndidi makes his return for the first time in 6-weeks after a thigh injury which kept him out of Nigeria’s last two friendlies against DR Congo and England.

There is also a start for the impressive John Ogu who would begin just his second game under Rohr.

With the coach not impressed with the Eagles’ 4-3-3 display against England in the first half, he has decided to instead go with the same formation adopted in the second half against the Three Lions which brought a new spark into the game. John Ogu is likely to continue as a centre-back.
