The Super Eagles of Nigeria will arrive Russia on Monday night from their Avita Resort in Austria as the Gernot Rohr-tutored boys continue to put finishing touches to their tactics ahead of their World Cup opener against Croatia 5-days later, can authoritatively confirm.
The Eagles will be staying at the magnificent Sanatory Istochnik in Essentuki and will arrive in an all white traditional attire with a design of green at the top of their shirt, signifying the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria as they prepare to take the world by storm in Russia.
With just one win from five pre-world cup friendlies, the team will have to put up a spirited display in Kaliningrad if they are to surpass their previous Round of 16 achievement which was equalled four years ago in Brazil.
Nigeria is drawn in Group B alongside two-time champions Argentina, Croatia and debutants Iceland; they take on the Luka Modric- led Croatia next Saturday by 8pm.
