Though out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup due to injury, Super Eagles’ winger Moses Simon seems to have done enough to attract strong interest from 2018 UEFA Champions League finalist, Liverpool FC, an interest the KAA Gent speedster has confirmed.

In a chat with, the former AS Trencin player, who has started his recovery programme, confirmed his agent has been contacted by the English Premier League outfit and discussions are ongoing.

“Yes, I can confirm my agent told me about Liverpool’s interest in me. I find it interesting and I leave the dealings with him and the club,” he said.

Simon has impressed since joining KAA Gent from Slovakian side AS Trencin and has been monitored by Liverpool scouts for some time now.

Meanwhile, reports in the UK indicate Jurgen Klopp has identified the £10million-rated Gent winger as someone who can add some depth to one of the best frontlines in Europe. Searing pace is one of the Nigerian international’s biggest assets, which means he could slot into one of the wide areas with minimum of fuss next term.
