Super Eagles’ captain, John Obi Mikel has declared himself fit for Nigeria’s crunch clash against familiar World Cup foes Argentina after training perfectly despite spraining his wrist in their last game against Iceland, can report.

The talismanic midfielder, who told in Russia that the sprain was just a minor one and Nigerians should just continue to support and back the team to get the victory against Argentina on Tuesday.

Mikel, who dropped to a deeper role against Iceland, further admitted that he would continue to play anywhere the coaches ask him to, as the success of the country remains his utmost priority.

Nigeria are currently second in Group D with three points, two more than Argentina and Iceland who have just one point each, while already qualified Croatia have a maximum six points from two games.
