Super Eagles’ right-back, Tyrone Ebuehi took part in his first training session with Portuguese giants SL Benfica on Thursday ahead of their campaign in the upcoming 2018/2019 season, reports.
The 22-year- old defender, who featured for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia against Iceland, joined Benfica prior to the World Cup from Dutch First division side ADO Den Haag.
The defender, however, showed no signs of being a new player as he impressed in both morning and evening sessions, much to the admiration of the coaches and pressmen present at Thursday’s session.
With high profile games against Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Lyon on the horizon, Ebuehi will hope he can continue the momentum as he hopes to cement a starting position ahead of their first game against Vitoria Guimarães in the league opener.
