Super Eagles’ midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is expected to be offered an improved deal at Leicester City amidst strong interests from Arsenal and other European clubs, reports.

The 21-year-old joined the Foxes in January 2017, establishing himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League after winning more tackles than anyone in the league last season.

Ndidi was linked with Liverpool in January with reports this summer of interest from Arsenal, but the midfielder has said he is happy at the King Power Stadium.

“A transfer has never been on my mind. I feel very good at Leicester,” Ndidi was quoted as saying during the World Cup.

The Super Eagles’ star impressed at the World Cup in Russia. His 15 tackles were the most of any player in the group stages while he is still joint-second in the overall list, despite Nigeria being knocked out after just three games.
