Super Eagles’ attacker Alex Iwobi has reportedly agreed a new five-year contract worth around £70,000/week with Arsenal, AOIFootball.com reports.
Iwobi progressed through the Gunners academy and was receiving interests from Lazio, Everton and AC Milan but the 22-year-old is set to sign a new Gunners contract that will see his future at the club secured until 2023.
The new deal is worth around £70,000 per week and Iwobi will officially put pen to paper when the squad returns from their pre-season trip to the Far East.
New manager, Unai Emery is understood to have had positive talks with the Nigerian and assured him he will be part of his plans moving forward.
Arsenal is set to play Atletico Madrid and then PSG in Singapore as part of the International Champions Cup.
