Super Eagles’ midfielder, Mikel Agu has said he is certain to quit FC Porto, with indications he might not be in the plan of Head Coach Sergio Conceicao ahead of the new season, can confirm.

Agu, who returned to Portugal following a successful loan spell in Turkey with Bursaspor, told exclusively that he has already received different offers but would wait on the club before his final decision as he fancies a permanent move away from FC Porto.

“As it stands, I might likely go because I don’t think the coach wants me in his plans for the new season. For now, nothing concrete but I will prefer a permanent transfer rather than going on loan again,” Agu disclosed.

When quizzed if a return to Turkey could be on the cards for him, the former Coca-Cola MVP said his time in Turkey was amazing but he looks forward to new challenges.

“I don’t want to return to Turkey for now although I did enjoy my time there. I already have several offers from Spain, France, Belgium, Germany and Russia, but I will just wait and see what happens,” Agu concluded.
