Super Eagles’ hopeful and former U-17 World Cup-winning captain, Kelechi Nwakali was on target for FC Porto’s reserved team in their 1-1 friendly match draw away at FC Cesarense, reports.

The attacking midfielder, who has been training with both the main and reserved team, lined up for the friendly encounter alongside fellow Nigerian Yahaya Muhammad.

Nwakali opened the scoring for Porto when he rifled home a fantastic free-kick after 23 minutes to put his side ahead but Cesarense levelled with 20 minutes to go as both sides ended the match 1-1.

Nwakali told after the game that he was happy with the goal and is already looking forward to the new season.
